I spoke with the GMC last week concerning surgeons who continue to operate whilst being sued for negligence, some with multiple ongoing lawsuits as in David Teenan's case.
The GMC advise anyone taking legal action against a surgeon should provide details asap via email or the GMC website.
They will investigate each report but due to current high volumes of complaints it may take up to 2 weeks before they respond in person.
